Architectural Relief Collection
With a major in Fine Art and a minor in Art History, I have always had a great appreciation for “old things made new.” My senior exhibit depicted a classically painted figure looking upon a very modern figure. Since then, my work conveys a classic flair juxtaposed with something very modern. This contrast makes the artwork both compelling and interesting. My new works come from my love of architectural restoration. Each piece depicts a scene you might find in the intricate mouldings of a historic monument. Made to look as though it has been carefully removed and restored to stand on its own merit, these delicate scenes are mounted on heavy modern acrylic blocks. It is through these exceptional works, if you feel unloved, unimportant or insecure, these will help you to REMEMBER to whom you belong and who HE says you are and the amazing gifts of nature He gives us.
